Francis & Sara were married at St. Edmonds Catholic Church on August 8, 1981 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Their family of 6 has now grown to include 1 daughter-in-law, 2 son-in-laws and multiple grandchildren!

Was born in Abbeville, Louisiana on March 10, 1956. He was the 5th son of 7 boys born to Evelyn & Tony Fontana, who raised their children in close proximity to the local Catholic Church and Catholic schools. Francis received his Bachelors degree in Industrial Arts Education from University of Southwestern Louisiana (Now University of Lousiana) in Lafayette, Louisiana and received his Masters in Religious Education from University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. He was the first salaried Youth Minister at St. Edmond's Catholic Church in Lafayette, Louisiana and at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. He taught Theology at St. Thomas High School and then changed careers into Financial Services. Since 1989, Francis has been a Regional Vice President with Primerica Financial Services.
Was born in Topeka, Kansas on May 16, 1959. She was the 3rd daughter of 5 children to Ralph and Joy Guidroz. Ralph and Joy Guidroz had all of their children in different states! Ralph was in the US Air Force when Sara was born, then moved the family to South Carolina where he completed his Masters in Geology. After completing his masters degree, Ralph & Joy moved the family to Dallas where Ralph worked for Texas Instruments and Joy taught dyslexic children. After 8 years in Dallas, Sara's father moved everyone to California after he felt he was being called to work in the Catholic Church. There he completed his Masters in Theology and began a career as an early pioneer in Catholic lay ministry, professionally working in the Church.
Eventually the family moved to Lafayette Louisiana where Sara completed her high school years and first year in college. By the grace of God, it was during her freshman year in college she met Francis and their relationship began to evolve. The following year, Sara transferred to the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas to pursue an undergraduate degree in Religious Education. She completed that degree in 1981 and began her professional career in ministry in the Catholic Church. That career has ranged from Youth Ministry, to co-author a Confirmation Program, to Vocation Ministry, to Director of Religious Education, to Director of Children's Ministry, to Family Ministry and Family retreats. She later completed a Masters in Community Leadership with an emphasis in Family Ministry, from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Her Master's project was facilitating the development of Circle Lake Family Retreat Center for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston under the mentorship of Winnie Honeywell.
